MECHANICAL INSTRUMENTS OF MUSIC?

IS MECHANICAL MUSIC JUSTIFIED?

A Command?
NO

An Example?
NO

By Inference?
NO

Is it Scriptural?
NO

A Good Work?
NO

Pertain to Life?
NO

Anti-Scriptural?
YES

THE SCRIPTURES TEACH US TO SING IN WORSHIP!

Matthew 26:30
“SUNG an hymn”

Acts 16:25
“SANG praises”

Romans 15:9
“SING unto thy name”

I Corinthians 14:15
“SING with the spirit and understanding”

Ephesians 5:19
“SINGING psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs”

Colossians 3:16
“SINGING with grace in your hearts”

Hebrews 2:12
“In the midst of the church will I SING praise”

James 5:13
“Is any merry?  Let him SING psalms”

MECHANICAL MUSIC IS SINFUL!

Violates the principle of faith (Rom. 14:23)

Makes void the Word of God (Matt. 15:3-9; Mark 7:13)

Violates God’s Specific Command (Col. 3:16; Eph. 5:19)

Rejects Christ’s Authority (Matt. 7:29; 28:18; John 12:48-50; Col. 3:17)

CONCLUSION: Since mechanical instruments of music cannot be justified by
God’s Holy Scriptures to accompany the singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual
songs, they are therefore wrong and sinful to engage them in worship to God!  It
violates every principle of faith, makes void the Word of God, violates God’s
specific command, and rejects the authority of Jesus Christ, the Son of God!
What more could be said?  If there’s no scripture for it, there’s no authority for
it!  How will you answer when you stand before Christ to be judged?
