Is The Book of Mormon Inspired of God?

Mormons claim that the Book of Mormon is inspired of
God.  They promote it as “another testament of Jesus
Christ.”  They also believe the Bible is inspired of God.  If
the Book of Mormon is inspired of God, then we would expect
some things.  First, we would expect it to be in harmony with
the Bible and never contradict the Bible.  Second, we would
have to accept the position that no one can be saved without
obeying it.  One of the Mormon apostles, Orson Pratt, made
this truthful and pertinent observation: “The nature of the
Book of Mormon is such that, if true, no one can possibly be
saved and reject it, if false, no one can possibly be saved and
receive it.”
It is a matter of fact that there are many contradictions
between the Book of Mormon and the Bible.  Three examples
should be enough to show the error and fraud of the Book of
Mormon.  First, the Bible teaches that Jesus was born in
Bethlehem (Micah 5:2; Matt. 2:1).  But, the Book of Mormon
has Jesus born in Jerusalem, according to Alma 7:10.
Second, the Bible tells us that when Jesus was crucified,
darkness covered the land for three hours (Matt. 27:45).  But,
the Book of Mormon has the darkness for three days (1
Nephi 19:10; 3 Nephi 8).  Third, according to the Bible in Acts
11:26, the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
This was in the First Century.  However, according to the
Book of Mormon in Alma 46:13-16 and 48:10, it speaks of
Christians existing even before Christ came to earth.
Joseph Smith, the founder of the latter-Day Saints, put
footnotes in the Book of Mormon, which says that Christians
existed in 72 & 73 B.C.
Joseph Smith said this about the Book of Mormon: “I
told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most
correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our
religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its
precepts than by any other book.”  If the Book of Mormon is
“the most correct of any book on earth,” then why does it
contradict the Bible in so many places?  Smith was a false
prophet who is to be rejected along with the Book of Mormon!
